English Foundation Program Instructor – Immediate Start, Relocation to Kuwait

About the role

American International University (AIU) seeks a full‑time English Foundation Program Instructor for the 2026–2027 academic year. The position supports a outcomes‑driven foundation curriculum that prepares students for entry into undergraduate degree programs in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction across integrated English language courses (reading, writing, listening, speaking) aligned with CEFR levels.
• Plan and execute structured lessons using evidence‑based, scholarly‑informed approaches.
• Conduct frequent formative learning checks, contribute to common program‑level assessments, and evaluate student readiness for progression.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student engagement; enforce program policies.
• Provide office hours, targeted academic support, and early intervention for at‑risk students.
• Utilize Canvas as the primary LMS and Microsoft Teams for communication and instructional continuity.
• Teach effectively in both in‑person and remote formats and collaborate with course coordinators to ensure curriculum alignment.
