Fire Captain

About the role

The Fire Captain position is based in Kuwait City and supports V2X Inc's WEXMAC operations. Reporting to the Assistant Fire Chief of Operations, the role leads fire and emergency response teams, ensuring compliance with the LOGCAP V Fire Protection Plan and related Emergency Management Plans.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise firefighters during fire suppression, rescue, and hazardous‑materials incidents.
• Implement fire protection programs in line with the Performance Work Statement.
• Maintain a safe workplace, adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
• Conduct fire inspections, document findings, and track corrective actions.
• Operate computerized fire alarm and two‑way radio communication equipment.
• Manage logistical tasks such as equipment accountability, maintenance scheduling, and subordinate coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of fire service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in emergency response environments.
• Knowledge of fire inspection procedures and EHS/QA compliance.
• Ability to train and mentor subordinate personnel on safety and operational protocols.
