Freelance Material Scientist – Python AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a material scientist with strong Python skills to design and validate engineering‑focused AI training problems. This freelance, project‑based position supports leading tech companies in testing and improving AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original material‑engineering problems that mimic real‑world workflows.
• Create Python‑driven challenges requiring numerical methods, iterative solutions, and optimization.
• Base problems on actual research questions or practical engineering applications.
• Validate solutions using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified answer sets.

Required profile

• Degree in Material Science or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in material engineering.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
