Freight Specialist

About the role

Join Boutiqaat as a Freight Specialist, responsible for coordinating and monitoring international shipments from origin to destination. You will ensure shipments leave the right place at the right time with complete documentation, acting as the bridge between suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from booking through delivery.
• Work with freight forwarders, suppliers and internal teams to keep shipments on schedule.
• Track shipments, identify delays and follow up until resolved.
• Prepare, collect and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and bills of lading.
• Review freight quotations, invoices and cost discrepancies.
• Maintain organized freight records, shipment trackers and cost reports.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders and build strong relationships with logistics partners.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements for freight performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics Management or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in freight operations, logistics or supply chain.
• Experience managing international shipments and freight forwarders; e‑commerce, retail or FMCG logistics a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong planning, organization, attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
