Fusion 360 CAM Programming Expert (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fusion 360 CAM Programming Expert to create and evaluate grading rubrics for CNC machining solutions. The role is fully remote and contract‑based, offering an hourly rate of $120‑$175.

Key responsibilities

• Author 10‑criterion rubrics to grade Fusion 360 CAM programs based on provided CAD models and machining context.
• Write clear verification rationales for each criterion to ensure objective assessments.
• Review sample CAM solutions, explain pass/fail outcomes, and suggest improvements.
• Develop grading rubrics that reflect expert machinist approval standards.
• Provide detailed reasoning behind each criterion to enhance evaluation accuracy.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Fusion 360 CAM and a valid Fusion 360 license.
• Ability to program 4‑axis and/or 5‑axis CNC toolpaths.
• Minimum 5 years of CAM programming experience.
• Strong production judgment for safe machine operations.
• Fluent written English; all deliverables are text‑based.
• Preferred: experience as a CAM instructor or trainer.
