HSE Officer / Facilities Coordinator – Kuwait

About the role

We are seeking qualified professionals to join our growing education group in Kuwait as either an HSE Officer or a Facilities Coordinator. The successful candidate will support a safe working environment and ensure efficient facility operations within a fast‑paced educational setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, oversee vendor contracts and manage day‑to‑day facility operations.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and facility KPIs.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on HSE standards and facility best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• Recognised HSE certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in HSE or facilities coordination, preferably within the education or hospitality sector.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
