In-Store Visual Merchandiser

About the role

The In-Store Visual Merchandiser is responsible for developing, delivering and communicating visual concepts that promote the brand, its products and services within retail locations. This role works closely with store teams, operations and brand management to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure brand identity and presentation standards are consistently achieved in windows and in‑store displays.
• Create eye‑catching visual displays that incorporate commercial sales opportunities.
• Implement brand‑specific visual merchandising standards and coordinate store displays according to brand guidelines.
• Develop floor plans and layout designs to maximize visual impact.
• Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures and guide in‑store layout.
• Photograph every change made to merchandise displays for documentation.
• Utilise creative lighting techniques for window and store displays.
• Re‑merchandise the store when new trends emerge and optimise placement of new product lines.
• Collect feedback on merchandise presentation and ensure proper merchandising of items.
• Collaborate with operations, brand management and sales teams to drive commercial goals.
• Participate in pre‑opening activities to verify brand standards are implemented.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing visual concepts for retail environments.
• Ability to train and coach store teams on visual standards and merchandising practices.
• Strong eye for detail to maintain consistent brand identity.
• Capability to create floor plans and design effective store layouts.
• Interest in researching current market trends and lifestyle influences.
