Kitchen Steward

About the role

The Kitchen Steward ensures that all kitchen and dining areas remain clean, organized, and ready for the culinary team. This position supports food preparation, maintains equipment hygiene, and contributes to a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Coordinate cleaning and polishing of silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
• Assist with inventory management of kitchen and dining equipment.
• Remove garbage and waste promptly from kitchen areas.
• Support the culinary team with food preparation and service setup.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.
• Participate in setup and cleanup for meal services.
• Operate in an environmentally friendly manner, adhering to company EHS policies.
