Logistics & Customs Clearance Officer – Kuwait

About the role

The Logistics & Customs Clearance Officer will manage the end‑to‑end customs clearance process for both import and export shipments in Kuwait. You will ensure compliance with local regulations, maintain accurate records, and act as a liaison between clients, customs authorities, and internal teams to guarantee timely cargo delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customs clearance for all import and export shipments.
• Ensure full compliance with Kuwait customs regulations and government requirements.
• Prepare, review, and verify all shipping and clearance documentation.
• Liaise with clients, shipping lines, transporters, and customs brokers.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Support daily logistics and customs operations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in customs clearance and logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
