Operations Associate

About the role

The Operations Associate supports the daily functioning of Velvet Desert’s business in Kuwait. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures smooth inventory flow, order processing, and coordination between warehouse, retail, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory levels and stock accuracy across all channels.
• Manage order processing, fulfillment, and product handling from warehouse to delivery.
• Assist with vendor and supplier communication, shipment tracking, and receipt verification.
• Maintain operational records, quality‑control documentation, and inventory reports.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer‑service teams to optimise workflows and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• 1‑2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply‑chain coordination, preferably in retail or fashion.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Fluent English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• Interest in fashion, jewelry, and sustainability aligned with brand values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software, including spreadsheets, inventory tools, and order‑management systems.
• Accurate data entry and record‑keeping capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
