About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) works on the night shift in the 2nd Floor Rehab department, providing essential assistance to patients and their families. The role focuses on basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and ensuring that care is complete while maintaining compassionate, caring interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene.
- Ensure care is complete and collaborate with the healthcare team throughout the night shift.
Required profile
- Minimum of 12 college credit hours, including a passing grade in English Composition and an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher (transcripts verified).
- Willingness to work flexible night hours with strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills, proactively anticipate patient needs, and solve problems.
