About the role
The Patient Care Technician I provides essential support to patients and families on the 3rd Floor Rehab unit, assisting with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene while ensuring comprehensive care delivery. This position requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to work closely with the broader healthcare team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and their families with basic care tasks, monitoring, and hygiene.
- Ensure that all aspects of patient care are completed and documented.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
Required profile
- Completion of 12 college credit hours, including English Composition with a grade of C or higher and a minimum GPA of 2.0.
- Healthcare or service‑industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
