Physical Therapist Floater

About the role

The Physical Therapist Floater provides flexible, high‑quality therapeutic care to a diverse patient population within the Therapy Central Office. Working a day shift from 8 am to 5 pm, the floater covers staffing gaps and ensures continuity of care across multiple units.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy interventions to patients of varying ages and conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and state licensing requirements.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and cover for absent staff as needed.

Required profile

• Active Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy license.
• Minimum of one year professional experience or successful completion of all required facility competencies for a Staff Therapist II.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated independence, accountability, and commitment to professional growth.
