Procurement Officer

About the role

Drops Art Factory is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage purchasing and supply operations for its production facilities in Kuwait City.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement and purchasing activities.
• Source, evaluate, and communicate with suppliers.
• Request quotations, compare prices, and recommend suitable options.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, and delivery conditions.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders using the ERP system.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing records.
• Prepare procurement, cost‑analysis, and purchasing reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Odoo or a similar ERP system.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and production materials.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and follow‑up skills.
