Production Stimulation Engineer

About the role

The Production Stimulation Engineer supports the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of Schlumberger’s products and services to customers. The role works closely with operations, sales and product delivery teams to provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with operations groups to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and communicate findings.
• Promote new technologies and service offerings, supporting risk management and lessons‑learned implementation.
• Provide real‑time technical support to operations, sales and service delivery teams.
• Assist in developing technical job designs, evaluating cost‑effective techniques and assessing tender viability.
• Participate in incident response, recovery and investigation related to stimulation activities.
• Maintain visibility with customers through seminars, professional societies and technical publications.
• Mentor junior stimulation engineers and guide cross‑functional project teams.
• Engage with universities, research institutes and industry forums to stay current on emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical or related field).
• Proven experience in well stimulation or production engineering within the oilfield services sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, technical publications and mentorship.
