Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor oversees end‑to‑end processes within the assigned production section, ensuring smooth operations, optimal efficiency, and compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental standards. The role acts as the primary point of contact for supporting departments and drives continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall shift operations, coordinating activities across UHT processing, filling, data entry, RMS, QA, and maintenance teams.
• Execute daily production plans, monitor yield, losses, and re‑processing to minimize waste.
• Supervise operators, assistants, and labor teams, providing technical guidance and resolving issues.
• Ensure equipment readiness, schedule preventive maintenance, and oversee breakdown reporting and post‑maintenance inspections.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Environment, Lean, GMP, and 5S standards.
• Handle manpower planning, shift scheduling, training coordination, and employee relations.
• Monitor production reports, QC data, KPIs, and audit requirements, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement, cost‑reduction, and loss‑reduction projects.
• Support internal and external audits to meet regulatory and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science & Technology, Food Technology, or a related field.
