QHSE Superintendent

About the role

We are looking for a QHSE Superintendent to lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental programs for deep‑drilling land rig operations in Kuwait. The role ensures compliance with regulations, client requirements and company standards while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the HSE Management System on rig sites.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, JSA, toolbox talks and permit‑to‑work compliance.
• Lead incident investigations using ICAM, TapRooT or 5‑Why and track corrective actions.
• Oversee environmental compliance, waste handling, spill prevention and emergency drills.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality standards, monitor KPIs and support internal/external audits.
• Deliver HSE inductions, develop training plans and verify competency for high‑risk activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly QHSE reports and dashboards for management and clients.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly on drilling rigs.
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and client HSE requirements.
• Proven ability to lead safety culture initiatives and mentor site personnel.
• Excellent analytical skills for incident trend analysis and continuous improvement.
