Registered Nurse – Day Shift (Resource Team)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will join Baptist Health’s Resource Team on a day shift (6:30 am‑7:00 pm). The RN is responsible for delivering safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and the training provided by Baptist Health. The role requires clinical competence and critical thinking to support patients across specialty units.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide direct bedside care and monitor patient conditions throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated treatment.
• Participate in specialty‑specific education and adhere to unit protocols.
• Float within the assigned specialty or to other campuses within a 30‑mile radius as needed.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing in Arkansas.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience, including at least one year in the specialty applied for.
• Current Healthcare CPR certification; ACLS, PALS, or NALS may be required (training provided).
• Willingness to float across campuses within 30 miles of the home campus.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of ACLS, PALS, and NALS protocols.
• Ability to perform the nursing process and exercise critical clinical judgment.
