Remote Farsi Instructor

About the role

Berlitz is seeking a part‑time, freelance Remote Farsi Instructor to deliver online language lessons using the Berlitz Method. You will work from home, set your own schedule, and help students improve their Farsi skills while gaining cultural insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans using provided materials and tailor them to each student’s needs.
• Create a supportive, risk‑free environment where learners can experiment with the language.
• Document student progress after each session.
• Commit to delivering 15–20 teaching hours per week, based on your availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Farsi and intermediate proficiency in English.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps download and upload).
• PC or laptop with Windows 11 or macOS 11 (or newer).
• USB headset and webcam.
• Backup power source if you experience load‑shedding.
• At least 2 GHz processor and 8 GB RAM.
