Room Service Order Taker

About the role

As a Room Service Order Taker you will be the first point of contact for guests requesting in‑room dining. Your friendly voice and attention to detail will help create memorable stays by ensuring orders are taken accurately and delivered promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Answer Room Service telephone calls and guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Capture food and beverage orders and enter them into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system without errors.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, promotions, and specials to answer guest questions.
• Suggest additional items such as sides, desserts, and drinks to enhance the guest experience.
• Process payments, reconcile checks, verify totals and gratuities, and handle cash according to accounting guidelines.
