Rotating Technician – Immediate Hire (4 Positions)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Rotating Technicians to join our industrial equipment team in Jahra, Kuwait. The role involves maintaining a wide range of rotating machinery to ensure reliable plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, blowers, motors, fans, agitators and turbines.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, assemble and test rotating equipment.
• Replace bearings, seals, gaskets, couplings, shafts and other mechanical components.
• Conduct laser alignment, balancing and vibration analysis.
• Troubleshoot overheating, leakage, abnormal noise and other mechanical failures.
• Maintain lubrication systems and monitor equipment performance.
• Support stainless‑steel fabrication machinery and workshop equipment maintenance.
• Assist with welding, fitting and mechanical fabrication tasks as required.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&ID and GA drawings, as well as OEM manuals.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimise downtime and participate in plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure timely completion of maintenance work.

Required profile

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Maintenance.
• Trade certification in rotating equipment maintenance (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience maintaining rotating equipment, preferably in GCC industrial settings.
• Experience in a mechanical workshop or stainless‑steel fabrication environment is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
