Sales Engineer

About the role

The Sales Engineer will implement the sales plan to meet targets and grow the department by increasing market share of existing products. This role combines technical expertise with customer‑facing activities to drive sales and build long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new customers and sales channels, and explore market initiatives.
• Deliver technical and sales presentations, clearly explaining product plans and answering enquiries.
• Act as an honest mentor by presenting the pros and cons of each brand and maintaining long‑term customer relationships.
• Meet customers to introduce products and provide ongoing support for queries.
• Prepare, review and qualify technical drawings and designs with customers before installation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and databases to improve networking.
• Promote available services to achieve sales targets and improve department profitability.
• Collaborate with the Marketing department to propose necessary marketing tools.
• Represent Alghanim Industries responsibly, upholding legal, social and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Up to 5 years of direct sales experience in a related engineering field.
• Creativity in developing new systems and approaches.
• Strong analytical ability to handle complex mathematical analysis and calculus.
• Excellent communication, listening and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of mechanical concepts and processes.
• Ability to use engineering equipment and tools.
• Proficiency in reviewing and qualifying technical drawings and designs.
• Capability to perform complex mathematical analysis and calculus for design and troubleshooting.
