Sales Executive - Commercial Freight

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to drive growth in our commercial freight business. You will retain existing customers, develop new accounts and contribute to the logistics sales budget while upholding our company values.

Key responsibilities

• Secure new customers and nurture existing accounts.
• Meet and exceed revenue targets for the department.
• Generate and convert sales leads into revenue‑generating business.
• Provide timely, professional communication with customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations and Documentation on contract execution.
• Gather market intelligence and participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings.
• Follow up on client receivables with the Finance Controller.
• Maintain up‑to‑date prospect and customer lists, and submit weekly activity reports.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• 3‑5 years of proven sales and marketing experience, preferably in freight or logistics.
• Computer literate with effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Valid driving licence.
• Preferably a degree in International Trade, Shipping, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Good grooming, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Valid vehicle driving licence.
