Storekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of items on our vertical rack system. The role ensures accurate inventory records, safe handling of fabricated products, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Promptly record and enter receipt and issuance of vertical rack items.
• Report any discrepancies such as dents, damage, or non‑conformity to drawings to the supervisor and arrange return to fabrication.
• Maintain accurate stock counts and ensure quick access to stored fabricated items.
• Facilitate safe product movement to minimise shrinkage.
• Update inventory data accurately and consistently.
• Ensure all storage activities follow organisational policies, procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Promote safety and emergency procedure awareness among storage rack personnel.

Required profile

• Diploma qualification.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP or similar inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
