Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper will manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of construction materials and related products in our Rai warehouse. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures smooth daily warehouse operations and supports the purchasing, logistics, and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries, verify quantities and quality.
• Organise, label and store stock according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the warehouse management system.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, pack and load goods safely.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Keep the storage area clean, safe and compliant with company safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or logistics training is a plus.
• Previous experience as a storekeeper or in a warehouse/stockroom, preferably in trading or construction materials.
• Ability to work on‑site, stand for long periods and lift/move materials.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with logistics and sales.

Required skills

• Inventory management and accurate stock tracking.
• Forklift operation (certified where required).
• Basic computer skills for using inventory or warehouse management systems.
