Strategic Customer Supply Chain Partner

About the role

The Strategic Customer Supply Chain Partner works directly with healthcare customers to diagnose, design and implement supply‑chain solutions that improve service, profitability and operational efficiency. This client‑facing consultancy blends strategic analysis, digital execution and rigorous project management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site diagnostics of customers’ supply‑chain setups, material flows and storage capacities using the SCOR Model.
• Co‑facilitate workshops with hospitals, laboratories and authorities to map current logistics workflows and design optimized future‑state models using Value Stream Mapping.
• Develop customized supply‑chain strategies that deliver measurable value such as optimized inventory, reduced manual handling and lower waste.
• Partner with commercial teams as the supply‑chain subject‑matter expert to translate operational findings into commercial proposals.
• Lead end‑to‑end supply‑chain optimisation projects from scoping and business‑case design through execution and closure.
• Build and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, define roles, allocate resources and monitor milestones.
• Establish project governance, track KPIs, manage risks and report progress to steering committees.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and change‑management to ensure sustainable adoption of new processes.
• Roll out Roche’s digital supply‑chain and inventory‑management solutions, applying CPFR strategies to improve integration and delivery reliability.
• Monitor post‑implementation performance, resolve operational incidents and act as the strategic link between regional customers and global development teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain consulting or project management within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex logistics data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for workshops with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale transformation projects.
