Tai Chi Trainer

About the role

AlWazzan Education is seeking a full‑time Tai Chi Trainer to join its K‑12 campus in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The trainer will deliver Tai Chi and related wellness classes to students and staff, fostering a safe, inclusive environment that supports holistic health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Tai Chi and wellness sessions for diverse age groups, demonstrating forms and ensuring safe practice.
• Plan and sequence lesson plans, integrating Tai Chi principles into broader health and wellness programs.
• Adapt classes to varying fitness levels and cultural contexts.
• Collaborate with educational and administrative teams to schedule classes and support extracurricular activities.
• Monitor participant progress, provide constructive feedback, and uphold safety standards.
• Contribute to community wellness initiatives and promote a culture of well‑being across the campus.

Required profile

• Proven ability to instruct Tai Chi techniques and forms with substantial practical experience.
• Experience in fitness instruction, safe exercise practices, and class management.
• Teaching or coaching background, preferably with experience adapting instruction for different age groups.
• Knowledge of Qigong or related mind‑body practices.
• Relevant certification in Tai Chi, fitness, or physical education, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to inclusion.
• Prior experience in educational, recreational, or community settings is preferred.
