Technical Evaluator – Process Engineering Operations

About the role

A well‑known oil & gas company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technical Evaluator specialized in Process Engineering Operations. The role focuses on evaluating and improving the performance of key refinery units while ensuring strict safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess technical performance of specific refinery units such as FCC, Unsaturated Gas Plant, Alkylation, Sulfuric Acid Recovery, and Selective Hydrogenation.
• Conduct operational audits and provide advisory recommendations to plant teams.
• Support and lead process safety management activities, including HAZOP studies.
• Ensure compliance with operating procedures and industry safety standards.
• Identify optimization opportunities and prepare detailed evaluation reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 + years of refinery operations experience in at least one of the listed units.
• Prior experience in technical evaluation, operational auditing, or advisory roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process safety management and HAZOP.
• Ability to join immediately or with short notice.
