About the role
The American International University (AIU) in Kuwait seeks a Visiting Economics Faculty member to join its Business Administration department. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality undergraduate instruction in Economics and related business subjects, while contributing to curriculum development and student mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Design and teach innovative undergraduate courses in Economics, integrating current economic issues, data analysis, and real‑world business decision‑making.
- Update and refine course materials to align with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Develop rigorous assessment tools and ensure consistent grading practices.
- Participate in curriculum planning, student advising, and departmental service activities.
Required profile
- PhD in Economics.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proven university‑level teaching experience in Economics or related subjects.
- Relevant industry experience that enhances classroom instruction.
