About the role
American International University is seeking qualified chemistry professionals to join its adjunct teaching pool. The position is limited to local candidates and involves part‑time instruction of undergraduate courses, mentorship of students, and participation in curriculum development.
Key responsibilities
- Teach up to two undergraduate chemistry courses (approximately six credit hours) per semester.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to enrolled students.
- Collaborate with full‑time faculty on course design and curriculum improvement.
- Contribute to the intellectual and cultural life of the university community.
Required profile
- Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated university‑level teaching experience in chemistry.
- Relevant industry experience that enhances classroom instruction.
