Alternate Site Manager – Secret Clearance (SWA Transient Aircraft Services)

About the role

The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) supports day‑to‑day management of Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services (SWA TAS) at an assigned installation. Reporting to the Site Manager, the ASM ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, servicing, and departure in a 24/7/365 austere environment while maintaining full compliance with contractual and Air Force directives.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce a ZERO‑Harm workplace by upholding flight‑line safety standards, FOD prevention, and tool‑control procedures.
• Oversee all TAS operations—including aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn‑around, and departure—to meet Performance Work Statement objectives.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor assigned personnel, reinforcing operational discipline and safety.
• Act as the Site Manager in their absence, retaining full authority over daily decisions.
• Coordinate daily tasking, assign work, monitor execution, and resolve operational challenges affecting aircraft flow.
• Schedule personnel shifts and rotations to sustain 24/7/365 service levels, including surge and contingency operations.
• Inspect and audit work for compliance with Technical Orders, airfield procedures, and PWS requirements; implement corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Proven experience in flight‑line or aircraft servicing environments.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising shift‑based teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in high‑tempo, austere conditions.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government/U.S. Air Force directives and airfield safety standards.
