Application Development Director, Riyadh, Jeddah or Cairo

About the role

A regional healthcare technology and enterprise solutions group is seeking an Application Development Director to lead its in‑house application portfolio. The role collaborates with the enterprise applications unit delivering Oracle ERP and healthcare solutions, and will drive AI integration and modern architecture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the in‑house application development function, defining roadmap, delivery, people and technical direction.
• Set architecture standards for .NET Core, integration and cloud solutions.
• Introduce AI into products and engineering in a practical, governed manner.
• Collaborate with the enterprise applications unit on Oracle ERP and healthcare integrations.
• Build, lead and grow high‑performing engineering teams.
• Own quality, security and delivery predictability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in healthcare technology (HIS, EHR, SaaS or digital health).
• Senior leadership of application development teams with hands‑on architecture depth.
• Strong background in .NET Core and modern architectures such as microservices, APIs and cloud.
• Practical exposure to AI in products or engineering.
• Experience integrating with ERP platforms, preferably Oracle.
