Assistant IS Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Assistant IS Operator supports the operation and monitoring of industrial systems used to produce glass containers. Based on‑site in Ahmadi, this full‑time position assists senior operators with equipment start‑up, shutdown and routine production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with equipment start‑up, shutdown and daily operation.
• Monitor system performance and report any irregularities or faults.
• Perform basic inspections and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and activity records.
• Support troubleshooting efforts together with maintenance teams.
• Coordinate with senior operators, technicians and supervisors to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina for standing long periods and handling light to moderate manual tasks.
• Basic vocational or technical training in industrial operations, mechanical or electrical fields (beneficial).
• Prior experience in manufacturing or process plant operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
