Associate Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Al Tayer Insignia, the retail division of Al Tayer Group, supervises the receipt, storage and inventory movement across its retail business. The Associate Warehouse Supervisor organizes accurate picking and packing and facilitates timely delivery to stores and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving of all shipments against procurement records and report order inaccuracies, damages and discrepancies promptly.
• Manage quality checks, tagging and secure storage of goods.
• Submit Good Receipt Notes (GRN) to Finance for supplier invoice matching and payments.
• Arrange picking, quality checks and packing according to store and customer orders, and coordinate with the last-mile team for deliveries.
• Monitor daily SLAs for inbound and outbound operations and manage sales-force tickets and store/customer returns within agreed timelines.
• Manage shifts, track assistant productivity and KPIs, and support supervisors with shift planning and staff allocation.
• Review operational processes from a risk-management view, escalate risks to the site HSE committee and promote HSE practices.
• Guide and motivate subordinates and support their development.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in retail logistics or warehouse operations.
• A relevant vocational qualification is an advantage.
• Process-driven, excellent attention to detail, able to work with minimal guidance.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of material receiving, storage and handling.
• Working knowledge of WMS and e-commerce fulfillment is preferred.
