Audit Supervisor

About the role

An experienced audit professional is sought to join an Assurance team as Audit Supervisor. You will lead audit engagements, supervise audit teams, maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality audit services delivered in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and review audit engagements across various industries
• Lead and mentor junior audit team members
• Develop engagement plans, budgets and resource allocation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements
• Review financial statements, audit working papers and engagement deliverables
• Identify risks, give recommendations and support clients with value-added insights
• Monitor engagement profitability and operational efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Partially qualified professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5.5 years of external audit experience
• Experience supervising audit teams and managing multiple engagements
• Proficiency in English and Arabic

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
• Leadership, coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• CaseWare experience is an added advantage
