Azure Specialist

About the role

An Azure Specialist position in Kuwait focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining Azure Landing Zones according to Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework, and leading cloud migration and modernization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Lead migration and modernization of applications and services using PaaS and cloud-native solutions.
• Implement cloud governance, security and compliance policies, including RBAC, Defender for Cloud and Key Vault.
• Manage and optimize network, storage and compute resources for high availability and performance.
• Drive automation and operational excellence with Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), Azure Monitor and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee cost management, performance tuning and continuous improvement of Azure services.
• Support AI, data and hybrid/multi-cloud initiatives while keeping comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer or electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant IT or cloud-related field.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud providers is an added advantage.
