Bookkeeping Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

ZADZAD is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeping Accountant to join its Finance department in Kuwait. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities within a fast‑paced fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accounting entries, journals, and supporting documentation.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes and assist in preparing financial and management reports.
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready accounting records and respond to internal and external audit requests.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Identify and propose improvements to bookkeeping processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Actively pursuing ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, or professional services is an advantage.
