Captain - Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Captain ensures a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests by leading the front‑of‑house team. This position requires supervising waitstaff, managing reservations, and maintaining high service standards while communicating effectively in Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Food & Beverage Associates to deliver efficient service.
• Oversee the order‑taking process, guaranteeing accuracy and timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise restaurant occupancy.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests courteously and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and enforce hygiene, safety and sanitation standards.
• Train, mentor and conduct pre‑shift briefings for F&B team members on service standards.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve issues promptly and support a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic speaker with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience supervising front‑of‑house staff in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Ability to manage reservations and guest flow efficiently.
• Commitment to hygiene, safety and environmental standards.
