Chief Engineer – Hotel Property Maintenance

About the role

The Chief Engineer leads the property maintenance function for a Park Inn by Radisson hotel, ensuring that all facilities operate at the highest standards and that guest experiences exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest levels.
• Develop and implement property maintenance initiatives and achieve hotel targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of growth and performance.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, controlling costs and inventory while meeting productivity goals.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and deliver a preventive maintenance programme addressing maintenance, environmental and conservation matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and document activities for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent leadership skills with a hands‑on, lead‑by‑example work style.
