Consultant - Strategic Collaboration, Upstream Oil & Gas

About the role

Anton, an integrated oil and gas value-added management services company headquartered in Dubai, is hiring a Consultant - Strategic Collaboration for its On-sync Energy Management Services Company in Kuwait. The role advises on strategic partnerships and commercial structuring in the upstream oil and gas sector and translates strategic E&P objectives into executable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on strategic collaborations and partnership opportunities, including commercial structuring and contracting approaches.
• Translate strategic E&P objectives into executable projects by coordinating with technical, commercial, legal and other stakeholders.
• Assess the technical capabilities, staffing, facilities and resources needed for strategic E&P projects.
• Conduct petroleum economic evaluations and advise on project budgets, technical requirements, specifications, scope and execution programs.
• Define and develop E&P project scopes and programs, and assess the viability of E&P opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of geoscientists, engineers and other technical professionals.
• Evaluate technical and commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor global E&P industry trends, partnership models and contracting methodologies, and contribute to strategic planning.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Geoscience, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of professional upstream oil and gas experience, with substantial E&P experience.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams of geoscientists, engineers and technical professionals.
• Demonstrated experience with major international E&P companies and stakeholders; international upstream experience preferred.

Required skills

• Petroleum economics, commercial evaluation, project structuring and technical-commercial risk assessment.
• Knowledge of E&P fiscal regimes and commercial frameworks.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
