Deputy Project Manager

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support the Project Manager in delivering a complex Oil & Gas project at Shuaiba Oil Pier, Kuwait. The role involves assisting with strategic planning, coordination, and control of technical, financial, and administrative activities across both home office and site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in establishing project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing execution plans covering safety, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and milestones.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement, construction subcontract administration, and project controls.
• Monitor performance against budgets and schedules, identify deviations and support corrective actions.
• Prepare and monitor Total Installed Cost estimates, cost trends, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Identify project risks, assess impact, and support mitigation measures.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Construction Managers and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Engineering (any discipline).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• At least 5 years in project management or leadership roles on major EPC projects.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, controls, and construction.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
