Director of Compliance

About the role

The Director of Compliance will design and lead the transition of our high‑growth private company into a regulated public entity listed on Boursa Kuwait. Reporting directly to the Board and working with IPO advisors, you will establish the compliance framework that will underpin the company after the listing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a governance gap assessment and define the compliance requirements for a listed company.
• Develop and implement a regulatory engagement model with CMA Kuwait and Boursa Kuwait.
• Set up board‑level compliance reporting and monitoring processes.
• Embed a compliance culture across operations in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
• Maintain ongoing oversight of compliance obligations post‑IPO.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading compliance functions in a listed company or advising on IPOs/Governance mandates in Kuwait or the GCC.
• Deep knowledge of CMA Kuwait corporate governance rules and Boursa Kuwait listing requirements.
• Ability to translate regulatory language into practical operational controls.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Based in Kuwait and willing to work on‑site.
