Electronics Specialist – Rolling Mill

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to lead electrical and electronic maintenance activities within our rolling mill operations in Kuwait. You will coordinate technicians, ensure preventive and corrective maintenance, and support production during breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance schedules, guide technicians in condition monitoring, testing, calibration and repair of automation control systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, update SAP with accurate work orders and closure details.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, PLCs and automation systems to minimise downtime.
• Support root‑cause analysis investigations and implement approved preventive actions.
• Inspect, preserve and test critical spare parts to ensure readiness for installation.

Required profile

• Technical Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Technology, Electrical Maintenance, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3‑7 years of electrical maintenance experience in steel or heavy‑industry environments, depending on qualification level.
• Proven experience guiding technicians in rolling‑mill or continuous‑process plants.
