About the role

The School of Engineering and Computing at American International University seeks a full‑time faculty member in Civil Engineering at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will join a multicultural academic environment, teaching undergraduate courses and contributing to curriculum development and research.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Civil Engineering courses with a focus on practical, industry‑based learning.
• Integrate real‑world engineering practices, construction projects, case studies, standards, and codes into teaching.
• Develop and update curriculum and course materials.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and research matters.
• Maintain an active research profile and publish scholarly work.
• Participate in departmental and institutional service activities.

Required profile
