Gastroenterologist & Endoscopist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Consultant/Specialist with strong expertise in endoscopy to deliver high‑quality patient care and manage complex gastro‑enterological cases. The role involves diagnosing, treating and following up on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support and guide junior medical staff when required.

Required profile

• Master’s/Postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or a relevant specialty.
• Several years of post‑graduation experience for Consultant level and relevant experience for Specialist level.
• Specialized Endoscopy training or a 6‑12 month Endoscopy Fellowship.
• Proven experience in Gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures.
• GCI & GCA accreditation (mandatory).
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication and decision‑making skills.
