General Accountant

About the role

Seazen Group is seeking a General Accountant to join its finance team in Kuwait. The role involves handling daily financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and verify invoices.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, intercompany balances, daily sales, cash deposits, and card settlements.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and supporting schedules.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation, cost tracking, expense analysis and audit support.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement and other departments to resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in F&B, hospitality or retail.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and work accurately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software.
