General Pediatrician

About the role

We are looking for a qualified General Pediatrician to deliver comprehensive medical care to infants, children and adolescents in Kuwait. The role involves diagnosing, treating and preventing pediatric conditions while supporting families with expert guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric consultations, examinations and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Monitor growth, development, nutrition and overall health of children.
• Provide routine immunizations, preventive care and health screenings.
• Assess and manage common pediatric emergencies and deliver initial care.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans following clinical guidelines.
• Counsel parents on nutrition, vaccination, child development and hygiene.
• Identify developmental, behavioral and nutritional concerns and arrange referrals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinate care with nurses, specialists and other healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Pediatrics or an equivalent recognized pediatric qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience as a General Pediatrician in a hospital or clinic.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric diagnosis, treatment, preventive medicine and child development.
• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and their caregivers.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care and professional ethics.
