Head Chef for a Diet Meal Kitchen

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the operations of a specialised diet‑meal kitchen. The role is based in Kuwait and involves managing the cold‑section production line, ensuring high‑quality vegetable‑based dishes are prepared efficiently for a health‑focused clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen activities, focusing on the cold section and diet‑meal preparation.
• Plan, organise and execute vegetable cutting, salad assembly and other food‑prep tasks to meet menu specifications.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and quality standards throughout the kitchen.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen staff, providing training on diet‑meal techniques.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure fresh produce availability.

Required profile

• Minimum of several years’ experience working in a diet‑meal kitchen.
• Prior experience in Kuwait’s food‑service environment.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and manage cold‑section operations.
• Availability to work a 10‑hour shift starting at 22:00.
