Head of Collections – Kuwait

About the role

The organisation seeks a senior Collections professional to lead its receivables function in Kuwait. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Head of Collections will own the end‑to‑end invoice‑to‑cash process, improve DSO, and resolve complex customer disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Collections / Accounts Receivable team.
• Drive improvements in DSO, overdue receivables and cash collection performance.
• Take ownership of complex customer disputes and negotiate solutions with senior stakeholders.
• Review customer contracts, billing and service delivery to identify revenue leakage, under‑billing and contractual gaps.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial and Operations to resolve billing and contractual issues.
• Strengthen collections reporting, forecasting and performance analytics.
• Introduce improved processes, controls and automation where appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Collections, Credit Management, Accounts Receivable or Revenue Assurance.
• Background in services, telecom, technology or recurring‑billing environments preferred.
• Commercially astute with ability to interpret contracts and resolve billing disputes.
• Confident negotiator with senior/C‑level customer stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset, comfortable using data and automation tools.
• Hands‑on, resilient and able to work independently.
• GCC experience advantageous.
