Head of Custody, Middle Office & Fund Administration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Custody, Middle Office & Fund Administration to lead our fund administration, middle‑office operations, custody coordination and operational risk controls. The role ensures compliance with regulatory and internal requirements while driving performance and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee middle‑office activities, including investment guideline monitoring, transaction coordination and risk controls.
• Manage the full fund lifecycle – structuring, regulatory filings, approvals, amendments and closures.
• Monitor fund performance and investment limits, providing timely reporting and escalation of deviations.
• Supervise KYC, client onboarding, subscriptions/redemptions and ownership declarations.
• Maintain relationships with custodians, fund administrators, subscription providers, legal advisors and other third parties.
• Ensure fund documentation, contracts and regulatory requirements remain up to date.
• Lead fund reporting, fact sheets, analytics and market benchmarking.
• Develop and lead the team while maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in fund administration, middle office, custody, asset management or a related field.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, asset classes, fund operations and regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Professional certifications such as CIPM, CCAM or other relevant investment/asset‑management qualifications are an advantage.
